PROJECT SUMMARY

ERA Group was given the opportunity to project manage Coke Studio Africa 2023. This was one of the most challenging yet rewarding projects that we have ever worked on because it included regions in North Africa which were initially outside of our comfort zone.

We then spent the next few months working all over Africa with some of the most brilliant artists and creatives from 6 beautiful countries: Algeria, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria and South Africa.

Our role included everything from the production and creative direction of the songs, to procuring the artists and planning for the shoots as well as working with the local markets to co-ordinate the digital rollout, shows and launch events.

DELIVERABLES

Producing and managing content for artists across all 6 regions.
Booking the artists and then coordinating completion of deliverables for each artist throughout the campaign.
Engaging producers, session musicians and mixing engineers to create high quality audio content.
Coordinating with the music video directors and line producers to ensure unproblematic video shoots.
Assisting with the creation of marketing deliverables for the campaign, from social posts to outdoor media.
Working with record labels and publishing houses to clear artist vocals for song releases.
Creating and enforcing legal agreements for all stakeholders involved in the campaign.
